   I’m not sure a country like Pakistan would have the components to make your own solar panels; you may have to look on the net for it with a local search. Otherwise you may be better off to look at a completed panel which will save you money in the long term. Don’t forget you will need a voltage controller so you don’t overload the battery.

   I don’t know about Pakistan, but in the US, it’s generally not worth it financially to make your own panels. Homemade panels do not last very long, only a few years at best. It’s virtually impossible to recover the costs, unless electricity is very expensive or unavailable in an area. And even then, a commercial panel may cost twice as much, but will last 10 times as long.

   To answer directly, you can find solar cells on eBay. If cost saving is your ultimate goal, I would still consider a commercially-made panel.

   I know that lots of companies in India make solar cells. I would have thought that Pakistan had manufacturers as well. Can you source them from India? They come both with and without tabs. Without tabs is a lot cheaper, but more tedious work to get them tabbed before hooking up. But it could save you some more money if you have the time.
